+**Test Procedure**
+**Select J1939 SIM from the test equipment**
+**Using test lead, fit 3 x wires
+White / black / blue**
+<note>**Connect the J1939 simulator
+Note –you will require 3 cables from the network to do the test, Once this is connected, the green LED will also flash rapidly, see pics below**</note>

+<note>** With a NMEA and J1939 connection, the green LED should flash every 1 second. This means the unit is working.
+Optional: For further testing you can: unplug the 3185 simulating device from the J1939 sim kit (keep both connections to the 9025 board).
+Open PCan-view, filter settings - Extended, OK. Then go to S:\Code\Published PC Programs\NMEASimulator and launch NMEASimulator.exe, INITIALIZE, ADD CourseAndSpeedOverGround.
+Now in Pcan-view you should see CAN data popping up. Two lines every 0.1s and two other lines every 1s (If this does not show up, close pcan-view and all other CAN bus programs, and launch again in this sequence.
+When you tick the random box in NMEA Simulator, the data for both sets of boxes should start changing. If it does not, make sure the instance switch is set to the correct instance. **</note>
