5170 Build Instructions
Remove the cover of the NVR case (203706) = 3 screws Rotate the fan through 90 degrees making sure the power cable is on the bottom – nearest where the Motherboard will go.
Remove the Hard drive bracket near the fan.
Remove extra motherboard mounting post from the casing.
Now prepare the PSU. This goes in the space at the front of the case.
As you feed in the PSU into the case, feed the cables through the small hole in the case next to it.
Next remove the front hard-drive case and mount the hard-drive into it using the correct screws
Fit the Hard-drive and it’s housing back in place.
Now you can add the Motherboard,
Start connecting the wires to the motherboard.
Next, connect the power cables from the front of the case to the Motherboard.
Adjust the blue jumpers to the correct position covering.
Connect all the power cables to the Motherboard and the external Hard-drive. One cable for the hard-drive will come from the PSU, the other will come from the Motherboard (see picture) above
Now it is safe to secure the PSU using the bracket provided. Also, plug in the power cable from the case into the PSU and switch the switch to on (1).
Next place the SSD into the slot nearest the PSU.
