5980 Build Instructions
1. Programme the board
2. Build the unit
Take the programmed board and remove the nut and washer from the NMEA connector if fitted.
Add 5 x light pipes(203179), making sure they fit flush at the bottom.
Add 4 x standoffs(203300) and secure with screws(202617) and washers(200508).
Fit the metal shield(203178-C), making sure the pipes fit in the holes.
Secure with 4 x screws(201075).
Fit the label(203209), making sue the holes all line up correctly.
Take the base(203184) and the foot(203182).
Fit together, keeping the foot central.
Screw on 1 x side plate(203181) and secure with 2 x screws(203183).
Slide the board into the base, ensuring correct orientation.
Fit the other side plate and secure as before.
Refit the washer to the NMEA connector and add the 10way connector block().
Fit the serial No. label as below.
