3350 Build Instructions

The 3350 PCB assembly contains components that are sensitive to electrostatic discharge (ESD) – please make sure you are wearing your wrist strap when handling.

</note>

Programming Instructions

  1. Open Atmel Studio.
  2. ATMEL PROGRAMMING
  3. FUSES: All off except BOOTRST and SPIEN
  4. BOOTSIZE = 4096_7800
  5. CKSEL = 16KCK/14CK +64ms (Last option)
  6. Then program the fuses.
  7. Select Hex file from
  8. S:/Code/Production/3350
  9. 3350 Black = 3350_Bv200.hex
  10. 3350 Fuel = 3350_Fv200.hex
  11. 3350 Grey = 3350_Gv200.hex
  12. 3350 Water = 3350_Wv200.hex
  13. Then program the memory.
  14. Disconnect the PCB

Assembly Procedure

Assemble the Display Board 10235 to the Engine Board 10236.

note correct orientation. One side has 5 pins the other has 6. (The header pins may need to be trimmed down by approx 3 mm to allow better fitment of the outer casing.)

The unit is now connected to the Monex system to check the LED Function @100% and 88% this ensures that all LED bars required to illuminate are lit, and check the Alarm Light function.

The unit can now be placed into the plastic body, remove the m12 nut to do so.
Add washer 203017 UNDER rubber O rings as required – this is only needed if base of connector is lower than shoulder of the switch.

Assemble the threaded socket through the hole in the Body moulding – leaving the rubber O-ring under the moulding.

Place Shake proof Washer 200926 or 202927 over the thread and secure in position by replacing the nut on the thread.

Now the Top Plate 200741 can be added over the buttons and LED display as Shown below.

The Self Adhesive Membrane 200753 is now attached to the front face.

(Ensure you are using the correct face to suit the build you are completing

First peel the backing from the back of the membrane. Care must be taken to align the Membrane centrally and with the transparent window squarely in line with the LED display.

Ensure that the Membrane is stuck down securely.

Taking care not to damage the moulding.

The Bezel moulding can now be assembled, but first the material feed sprue must be cut from the moulding using side cutters as shown (if this has been left on).

Ensure this is cut flush to the base of the bezel.
Add blue film at this stage to ensure bezel does not get scratched.

. Using the manual press the body moulding is gradually eased into the Moulded Bezel, rotating it approx

15 degrees for each application of pressure – Care being taken not to damage the three snap features
   on the Bezel.
A piece of cloth should be placed under the Bezel face to protect it from damage during this stage.
